Orme’ was born and raised in a rural town located in the mountains of Southwestern VA, learning at a very early age just how different she was from her family, friends, and neighbors. Never really fitting in or feeling comfortable, Orme’ participated in a number of activities throughout her middle & high school career, keeping herself extremely busy. Orme’ applied and was accepted into a university, hours away from her hometown, where she earned a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology, minoring in Social Work. Life took an incredible turn after college graduation. Orme’ got married, had a baby, received a promotion and relocation package. This move was supposed to catapult Orme’s career to the next level while improving a very rocky marriage. Unfortunately, that was not the case. In what seemed like an instant, Orme’ divorced, became a single mother and full-time student. Life had other plans for Orme’. This book will take you on a journey you will never forget.
